Appleton Paws, an independent dog sitting and walking service needed a fun, attention-grabbing brand and website concept that embodied the character and love for every dog they care for. With a focus on trust and playfulness, the new identity positions them as the go-to service for the community’s ‘top dogs’.

The overall aesthetic focuses on a typographic style with angled stacking; using effective copy to convey overall personality. By showcasing this character, trust is built with the target market, mirroring the empathy and care they provide for their own dogs. While owners require a care service for their dog on a functional level, they ultimately require the reassurance and easing of slight guilt whilst they’re away.

By understanding the core needs of Appleton Paws’ typical users, a simple overarching concept of ‘they’re having fun too!’ was developed. Just as a holiday camp is to a child, Appleton Paws offers a similar experience for beloved dogs. Therefore, physical touch-points as well as digital was integral to an all encompassing experience, reiterating an idea of a club and belonging, as well as the physical collateral serving a promotional benefit when out and about.
